Hellooooooo
This past summer my mom and I watched Cat Cohen’s Netflix comedy special and to my initial irritation there were many musical bits, but it was later very enjoyable. She has one song called “Events” and ever since my mom has associated the message of it to the way I’m always wanting to go to…events. Anyways-
Life’s been picking up recently
Time, age, responsibilities, work, events, events, events
I dance to disco and house, mixing in variations of the same two step and jumping up + down
Those dance classes certainly taught me well
My friends joke that they’re alcoholics, I meet them 2-3x a week maybe I’m one too
Life’s been picking up recently
I went to a concert and couldn’t stop looking over at this crowd of friends
Those sporty sunglasses and bedazzled tank top matched with the platinum blonde buzzcut caught my eye he knew it too
His back was facing the stage the whole time, his face meeting the crowd’s as a headliner would
I hope he got the content he needed
In the moment I felt life needed to slow down in the way that when life picks up you feel the need to show it all
I overpaid for those concert tickets I wanted to share the moment with some new friends, drink more alcohol, see rainbows
He overpaid for those concert tickets to share it with internet strangers
Life should slow down a bit fuuuuck influencers
Time, age, responsibilities, work, events, events, events

This quote from Choi Byung-Hoon, a Korean designer in his Apartamento interview: “When something is decorated from top to bottom, there’s nothing left to wonder about […] Restraint doesn’t mean there’s nothing there; you’re controlling it for the sake of the other person. You have to think about whether that person wants your message or not.”
“Tell Me Lies,” the most toxic show on Hulu that everyone should watch🤪
“One Tree Hill,” probably one of the most toxic shows on TV in the 2000’s
A Filipino food pop up at Winona’s by @patikim.nyc. My first Filipino cuisine experience was so juicyyyyyy
“Severance” by Ling Ma, a novel written in 2018 about a post-pandemic world. Considering what’s transpired in the past few years its pretty craaaazy
